Kili - Day 1 Day 1
Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Visa formalities and transfer to the hotel. Time to relax, check your equipment, and meet the team before the adventure begins.

Kili - Day 2 Day 2
Machame Gate (1,800 m / 5,906 ft) – Machame Camp (3,000 m / 9,843 ft)
Duration: 5–7 hours
Distance: 11 km (6.8 mi)
Route: The trek begins in the lush tropical rainforest. A steady ascent leads through dense jungle to the first mountain camp.
Overnight: Tent accommodation at Machame Camp.
Kili - Day 3 Day 3
Machame Camp (3,000 m / 9,843 ft) – Shira Camp (3,850 m / 12,631 ft)
Duration: 4–6 hours
Distance: 5 km (3.1 mi)
Route: Ascend through open alpine landscapes with spectacular views of Kilimanjaro’s two main peaks, Kibo and Mawenzi.
Overnight: Tent accommodation at Shira Camp.
Kili - Day 4 Day 4
Shira Camp (3,850 m / 12,631 ft) – Lava Tower (4,600 m / 15,092 ft) – Barranco Camp (3,950 m / 12,959 ft)
Duration: 7–9 hours
Distance: 10 km (6.2 mi)
Route: Ascend to Lava Tower for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp. This classic “climb high, sleep low” day helps the body adapt to altitude while offering dramatic mountain scenery.
Overnight: Tent accommodation at Barranco Camp.
Kili - Day 5 Day 5
Barranco Camp (3,950 m / 12,959 ft) – Karanga Camp (4,035 m / 13,238 ft)
Duration: 4–5 hours
Distance: 5 km (3.1 mi)
Route: A steady ascent via the Barranco Wall — a dramatic rocky section requiring some light scrambling, followed by a scenic traverse toward Karanga Camp.
Overnight: Tent accommodation at Karanga Camp.
Kili - Day 6 Day 6
Karanga Camp (4,035 m / 13,238 ft) – Barafu Camp (4,673 m / 15,331 ft)
Duration: 4–5 hours
Distance: 4 km (2.5 mi)
Route: The final base camp before the summit attempt. Arrival and rest in preparation for the night ascent.
Overnight: Tent accommodation at Barafu Camp.
Kili - Day 7 Day 7
Barafu Camp (4,673 m / 15,331 ft) – Uhuru Peak (5,895 m / 19,341 ft) – Mweka Camp (3,100 m / 10,171 ft)
Summit of Africa
Duration: 10–14 hours
Distance: 19 km (total)
Route: Night ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m / 19,341 ft), the highest point in Africa. Descent via Stella Point (5,739 m / 18,799 ft) down to Mweka Camp.
Overnight: Tent accommodation at Mweka Camp.
Kili - Day 8 Day 8
Mweka Camp (3,100 m / 10,171 ft) – Mweka Gate (1,640 m / 5,381 ft) – Moshi/Arusha
Duration: 3–4 hours
Distance: 10 km (6.2 mi)
Route: A descent through lush rainforest down to the park gate.
Transfer: Return to the city, where summit certificates are awarded.
Overnight: Hotel accommodation.
Safari - Day 1 Day 9
Lake Manyara or Tarangire National Park Safari
We head out on safari to one of Tanzania’s national parks.
Depending on weather conditions, the destination will be Lake Manyara or Tarangire National Park.
Overnight in a safari lodge in the heart of the savannah.
Safari - Day 2 Day 10
Ngorongoro Safari
We wake up, have breakfast, and continue to the second national park — the iconic Ngorongoro Crater.
A true lost world inside a massive volcanic caldera, home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife.
We spend another night surrounded by nature.

A helicopter flight above Mount Kilimanjaro at an altitude of up to 6,500 meters is (21,325 ft ) available either after the climb or as a separate experience during the Zanzibar safari program, with supplemental oxygen provided for comfort and safety.

You will fly over the slopes of Kilimanjaro in a private four-seater helicopter, piloted by an internationally licensed pilot, ensuring a smooth, safe, and world-class experience.

I don’t even remember how old I was when this dream of climbing Kilimanjaro first formed. I read a news story about how the glaciers on its summit were rapidly disappearing, and I decided: I have to see them before they’re gone.

I remember thinking that if I were to climb just one mountain in my life, it would be this one — Kilimanjaro. Back then, my childhood walls were covered with huge world maps, and I would stare at that distant continent, that unreachable point, and understand it wasn’t just a goal — it was a dream. Because in my child’s mind, reaching Kilimanjaro felt as unreal as receiving a letter from Hogwarts.

A whole small life lived vividly, intensely, and with pure joy.

62 kilometers from start to finish, almost 5,000 meters of total ascent and descent (my knees survived). From tropical rainforest to glacier, from +25°C to -7°C. From quiet contemplation to the absolute dominance of willpower over body and mind. From an easy walk along gentle paths to climbing over rocks (my favourite part — number 29). From cold tents and a down sleeping bag to a swimsuit, a pool, and tropical fruits. From baked bananas in a mountain tent to cocktails in the finest restaurant in town. From layered trekking gear to a silk dress for dinner.

Because life tastes best in contrasts. Because that’s what I love.

What kind of clothing should you choose for the trip?
— Safari: natural colors, NO touches of blue and purple included — Zanzibar: swimsuit, coral reef shoes (especially for protection against sea urchins)
What money should you bring with you?
— Tanzanian Shilling — 1 USD = 2,600 TZS — Banknotes issued before 2006 are generally not accepted — Hotels and safari companies accept US dollars
Is it customary to leave tips?
— Local guides after the climb: $150–$300 — Safari drivers: $20–$40 (per person) — Everything else is at your discretion

— Not required (a yellow fever vaccination is recommended for travelers to Zanzibar; it can be done at Kilimanjaro Airport, and the vaccine is lifelong).
